The TCPL Administration Department is responsible for all internal and external administrative matters for the library, providing managerial leadership, strategic planning, resource management, and direction of the overall operations of all the TCPL branches.

The Circulation Department issues library cards, check materials in & out, shelve materials, and manage holds. In 2014, the Tippecanoe County Public Libraries had over 700,000 visits. We checked out over 1.5 million items, which include books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, and streaming content. The library system has about 100,000 registered cardholders.

The Outreach Services Department serves the communities in the Tippecanoe County Public Library district through several services, including library customers at area nursing home and special care facilities, as well as homebound customers. The department operates the TCPL Mobile Library and manages the library’s talking book and Braille library. Please contact the Outreach Department at 765-429-0169.
The TCPL Reference Department strives to provide the information resources and guidance necessary to facilitate the continuing education of the residents of Tippecanoe County. Our staff includes several professional librarians and paraprofessionals who are available to answer questions and assist with a variety of informational needs.
