Tippecanoe County Public Library is organized into various library departments, each tasked with specific objectives to make your library experience enjoyable and educational. Please find specific department information below.
The TCPL Administration Department is responsible for all internal and external administrative matters for the library, providing managerial leadership, strategic planning, resource management, and direction of the overall operations of all the TCPL branches.

The Circulation Department issues library cards, check materials in & out, shelve materials, and manage holds. In 2014, the Tippecanoe County Public Libraries had over 700,000 visits. We checked out over 1.5 million items, which include books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, and streaming content. The library system has about 100,000 registered cardholders.

The TCPL Reference Department strives to provide the information resources and guidance necessary to facilitate the continuing education of the residents of Tippecanoe County. Our staff includes several professional librarians and paraprofessionals who are available to answer questions and assist with a variety of informational needs.
The Technical Services Department provides Acquisitions, Cataloging, Processing, and Automation functions at the Tippecanoe County Public Library.
