Technology Classes
TCPL offers a variety of technology classes where you can improve your computer skills. See what times and days are available by visiting the TCPL Event Calendar or by asking someone at the information desk of any branch. Registration is required.
One-on-one technology tutorials give you a chance to get personal help with a topic of your choice. Learn about the basics of using a computer or tablet, and get started with online services like email, Facebook, and Twitter.
Available topics include basic Windows functions, using tablets, navigating and searching the internet, using library downloadables, and help setting email, Facebook, or other social media. Other topics may be available depending on staff expertise – feel free to ask! If you have questions about a tablet, laptop, e-reader, or other mobile device, please bring it with you.
Sign up for classes at the information desk or through the calendar.
Each session is limited to one topic, but you are free to register for multiple sessions. Please have a topic in mind when you register so that staff can prepare for your session.
