TCPL has pulled together a collection of helpful online resources for kids and parents to use for homework, school assignments, and learning at home.

NoveList K-8 Plus helps parents, teachers, and librarians improve literacy, connect reading across curricular areas, teach reading and writing concepts, and engage young readers.

Children’s Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) provides full-text searchable access to all important and relevant information about Pre-K to young-adult media of all types. Inside, you’ll find over 600,000 Professional Reviews from 50 sources, notations from over 1500 Children’s Book Awards, Lexiles, Reading Counts and Accelerated Reader measurements.

Accelerated Reader Book Finder provides the book level of over 100,000 books. Just type in the title of a book, topic, or author that you want to read, click go, and you will see the book level (BL) and the points (AR pts) for the book.

Indiana Digital Media has expanded its services with a new digital collection website experience just for kids. The main digital collection, now has a separate site to provide a safe and easy browsing experience for kids. This appealing and user-friendly page contains eBooks, audiobooks, music and video. Browsing can be done by subject, reading level or interest level.

TumbleBookLibrary is an online collection of animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they’ll love.

World Book Online for Kids offers thousands of media-rich encyclopedia articles that are carefully selected and edited to suit the educational level of the users.
