Tippecanoe County Public Library now has a Discord server for teens!

Discord is a group chatting platform that we will use for socializing, discussions, games, programs, and more. This server is open to teens (Grades 7-12).

Below you will find a link to fill out the application to join.  Once your application is approved you will receive an invitation from one of our teen librarians!

While you wait for your approval you can create your Discord account on the discord website or download the app to your phone, tablet, or computer.

Below are the rules and regulations that we will ask everyone to abide by.

IN THIS DISCORD, YOU CAN:

• Hang out
• Share memes
• Share art or photos of pets
• Discuss books, movies music, anime, etc.
• Ask questions
• Talk about games
• Attend virtual programs
• Meet up for online games
• And more!

IN ORDER TO KEEP ALL OF THAT POSSIBLE WE ASK THAT YOU:

• Be excellent to one another.
  -No put downs, bullying, harassment, or abuse. Everyone is welcome and supported on this server.
• No harassment, abuse, bullying, or trolling.
  -We have zero tolerance for harming or antagonizing others.
• No racist, sexist, anti-LGBTQ+ speech, or other offensive content.
  -We have no tolerance for hate speech.
• No political or religious topics.
  -These complex subjects result in controversial and offensive posts. Refrain from talking about such topics here, even if intended in an ironic or joking manner.
• No swearing or other behavior that would not be allowed in the library building.
  -This server is an extension of the physical library building, so the same rules apply.
