A place to gather

In addition to providing reading materials, reliable information, and free digital technologies, three TCPL libraries offer a variety of public spaces you may reserve for group meetings, technology-based group activities, and small study sessions.

To help serve the community’s needs for educational, informational, and cultural enrichment, these spaces are available at no charge to local nonprofit groups, individuals, and library cardholders.

Study Rooms

Each location has  a limited number of semi-private study spaces on a first come, first serve basis. They are appropriate for groups up to four people. Please inquire at the service desk about the availability of study rooms.

Technology Spaces

Designated spaces with special technology resources. All locations have Digital Arts equipment that can perform a number of tasks such as digitizing home movies, scanning old photographs or recording music. The Downtown Library also features rooms for video conferencing, family computer use and language learning. Please see here for more info and to reserve a Technology Space.

Public Meeting Rooms

When our meeting rooms are not being used for amazing library programs they are available under certain criteria for outside groups to utilize.

All TCPL meeting spaces include free access to the Internet and Wi-Fi.

The library provides only the equipment listed for each meeting room. Due to the variety of devices and software currently in use, the library cannot provide technical staff to assistance groups using the meeting rooms.

Please read these meeting room guidelines. They provide information you need to know before you plan your meeting. For example: all library properties are alcohol- and tobacco-free.

When you make a reservation, you agree to set up and take down all the TCPL chairs and tables needed. You also agree that after your meeting you will clean and restore all areas to their original condition.

Before reserving a room, we can show you the space and answer questions. To make an appointment, just call 765-429-0100.
