Wea Prairie Branch Library
The Wea Prairie Branch Library is located on South 18th Street across from Wea Ridge Elementary School. Within the cozy brick building, browsers will find thousands of books, plus movies and non-fiction DVDs, music CDs, and magazines. The collection also includes materials in Spanish. The TIPCAT online catalog assures access to TCPL’s generous system wide collection, including print and electronic editions.
Nestled in the rolling hills just North of Wea Ridge Elementary School, the Wea Prairie Branch Library is similar in design to the Klondike and Wyandotte Branch Libraries. You can expect the same cozy atmosphere with places for meetings and storytimes along with high speed wifi and modern technology.
While you are there enjoy a stroll along the storywalk, a paved path winding through the hills around the building featuring a rotating picture book story.
Branch technologies include wireless internet access (WIFI), a public copier, scanner, computer printer ($0.10 per B&W page, $0.50 per color page.
Visitors may participate in library programs, such as weekly Family Storytimes, monthly meetings of book groups, Summer Reading Clubs, and more. For details about upcoming Wea Prairie Branch programs, check out The Pocket Edition Newsletter, and follow us on Facebook & Instagram.
