Volunteer at the Library
Have you been looking for a way to give back to the community? Consider joining V.I.P.S.!
Volunteers In Public Service are a select group of individuals who donate their time and energy to helping our staff give the best service possible. V.I.P.S. do a variety of jobs from processing books to delivering materials to homebound patrons.
We ask all of our volunteers to commit to volunteering a dedicated number of hours per week/month and to adhere to a set schedule. The times and schedules are mutually agreed upon between volunteers and their supervisors.
TCPL Volunteers are expected to observe the same dress code and rules of conduct which apply to the regular library staff.
Potential volunteers apply for specific tasks, choosing from a list of available volunteer job descriptions.
Keep checking back as positions change with availability.
